Many people like to make themselves coffee at home, but hate buying run of the mill coffee with uncertain origins and debatable taste. I personally detest drinking bad coffee, I would actually rather go without than try and down terrible coffee. So, what is the solution? Here in DSM there are several places to buy fair trade, locally roasted coffee that is amazing. Shops such as Friedrichs, Mars Cafe, Starbucks, Caribou and Dunkin’ Doughnuts (reviews for both coming soon) sell the same beans that they brew! So if you have a favorite brew, you can usually buy it directly from them. I personally love Caribou Mahogany Dark coffee beans and it is my choice for at home. If you are unsure of what to buy or what you want/like the baristas at any of these shops can show you ones you might enjoy. And its always okay to start with a little and then go back and buy more if you like it. Enjoy!
